Cookies For BREAKFAST
Do I have your attention!?
Cookies are my favorite dessert and when given the opportunity to eat them for breakfast, I don’t take a pass.
This week I’m sharing two of my favorite recipes that combine breakfast & dessert!
Banana Chocolate Chip Breakfast Cookies:
This is one of those recipes that’s been in my book for a while and is definitely a favorite in my house. Those bananas you bought turning brown? Grab them for these cookies!
There aren’t any crazy random ingredients so you’ll find them pretty easy to throw together. The granola gives them a nice little additional crunch. I love a good peanut butter & chocolate combo.
These cookies make a good grab & go breakfast if your mornings are more fast paced! Like any cookie, make sure you eat one warm out of the oven too!
Cookies & Cream Cinnamon Rolls:
Okay, this one is not quite as healthy as the last, but trust me when I say, the extra calories are worth it! We’re talking all OREOS for this one.
The prep has quite a bit of steps because the dough is scratch made. Let me just say though, there are Oreos IN the dough!
A sugary, crushed cookie mix is sprinkled over the dough before slicing and rolling.
My daughter loves helping me roll up the little snails! They come out of the oven golden brown and just so pretty.
What is an Oreo though without the cream? The cream cheese frosting is SO GOOD. The recipe makes so much of it too. I didn’t frost mine very pretty because I was determined to use it all!
Sprinkle them with some MORE crumbles of Oreo cookies and you have yourself one sugary, sweet breakfast (or dessert😝)!
