CELEBRATE.

How do you celebrate?

WHY do you celebrate?

These are two big questions I encourage you to take a quick second to think about.

My husband is a big believer in celebrating everything and anything. I have joined in on that belief even more since having our two kids.

The truth is, there is SO MUCH to celebrate in each day. It sounds super cliché but I wholeheartedly believe what I’m preaching.

Looking for things to celebrate each day has changed our mentality to one that encompasses so much more positivity. Isn’t that something we all really need more of in this world?

Here’s WHAT we CELEBRATE under our roof…

A good day or week. Success! An achievement at work, large or small. A long weekend. A day off. A much needed rainy day. A brave moment. A good moment. A fresh start. A change for the better. No time outs for my kiddos! A kind word, sharing, or other good choice. A first. A last.

Let me tell you, for a potty training little kid, a dry pullup can be a HUGE win. CELEBRATE.

We sometimes even find ourselves celebrating a random Friday each month!

Here’s HOW we Celebrate…

Ice cream. A family movie night. A walk. A trip to the park. A dinner out. A fancy dinner IN. A small prize or gift. A trip to the bookstore. A later bedtime. A picnic outside. Extra play time. A glass of wine or drink (for us adults obviously 😝).

These are just a few of our ideas that work right now because our kids are so little. Make it work for your family however that may look!

What I’m saying though is celebrate those BIG things! Celebrate the SMALL things too! I promise you, it will bring about so much joy in your life & family.
